Transfer your cover
If you have other super accounts that include insurance, you may be able to transfer that cover into your BUSSQ account.

BUSSQ offers Death cover, Total and Permanent Disablement cover, and Income Protection cover.
Change or cancel your insurance cover
You can apply to change your insurance cover or cancel your cover at any time.
Nominate a beneficiary
Do you know what will happen to your super benefit when you die? You can nominate who you want to get your super.
Set up a Child Income account
Make the choice to protect your child's financial future by ensuring any benefit paid upon your death goes to your children via a Child Income account. Find out more.

If you have a genuine claim and you meet the conditions of eligibility, we work hard to ensure you get the payment you are entitled to and provide personal support when you need it.

All insurance options are available for casuals and contractors, if they meet minimum hours conditions.
Cover is provided by Zurich Financial Services Australia and includes:
- Death only
- Death and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD), and
- Income Protection
We can also provide tailored insurance options depending on your needs.
